Molecular Science for Supra Functional Systems - Development of Advanced Methods for Exploring Elementary Process

Area Number 477;
Molecular systems in the real world, including biological systems, often show ultimate-performance by synchronizing various molecular processes harmonically. This project aims to understand such gsupra functional molecular systemsh by combining advanced methodology and analysis that have been developed in molecular science. We organize an active team of excellent researchers in different research fields of the gas phase cluster, condensed phase, and biomolecular science that have developed individually. Intensive collaborations and development of new measurement methods for supra functional systems will reveal the essence of supra functional systems, and will open new horizons in molecular science. This research will provide both scientific basis and new research technique for various related fields such as life science, material science, and nanoscience.
